REINVENTING YOUR LIFE

A THOUGHT ABOUT REINVENTING ONE'S LIFE
I am 73 years young and a few years ago I could have retired, but I chose to reinvent my life and I am SO happy I did. You see I am not the retiring type! I say this because I tried to be like all the other women my age and it just wasn’t for me. I am not the card playing type, and don’t enjoy meeting so many times a week to play cards.
I bet there are a lot of women 40-70 who feel there is more to life and want a change. You feel you want to reignite your life, but don’t know how. What I mean is you want excitement, enjoyment, or perhaps you want a purpose to your life. Finding that excitement, joy, that makes you happy will give you that purpose you have been striving for, but haven’t found as yet. It can happen!! You see everyone is different. What one woman finds exciting and enjoying another woman won’t. There is no right or wrong answers! It's all about what is exciting and enjoyable for you, that's what is important. There are so many possibilities, the skies the limit!! So how about it, interested in taking that first bold step forward? What do you have to lose?
If you haven't the foggiest idea of how to get started, you and I can sit down and start talking about all the possibilities, it's called brainstorming. That’s how I got started. I sat myself down and brainstormed all the possibilities and so can you. Some women find it easier if they have someone to listen to them. I am here to listen and ask pertinent questions so you can begin your journey in brainstorming your ideas towards reinventing your life! Know it is a process. When you decide to get together with friends, you are going through a process, when you decide to go on a vacation you go through a process in making arrangements for the trip, even when you want to go food shopping , you first have to make a list of all the foods you want to buy. Everything you do in life is a process. So this isn’t any different with getting started on your journey to redesign your life. I went through the same process when I decided I wanted to make a change in my life. I have to tell you it is the best decision I have made for myself. I wake up in the morning and I can’t wait to start my day! I feel as though I am alive again. Life has meaning. I have a purpose once again.
Just remember there is no right or wrong answer. Each woman is an individualist and so therefore what you brainstorm to do is right for you. That’s all that counts! Remember there are endless possibilities, because each person is different! Just think what a more fulfilling life you will have once you reinvent your life!
